This is a linear route from Skipton to Appleby in Westmoreland, taking in various of Lady Anne Clifford’s castles along the way. A slightly reduced version of the Lady Anne’s Way hundred mile long distance path, with some variation here and there where it makes sense.

Both ends of the route are on the Settle & Carlisle rail line, which makes transport a lot easier than many linears.
